Delivery

UK DeliveryDelivery methods and charges are displayed during the checkout process.

In response to customer feedback we have now changed our UK delivery to a tracked service that does not require a signature.

This is a 2 -3 day service and once your parcel is ready for despatch we will email you the tracking reference, whereby you will be able to track your parcel within the Royal Mail delivery system.

As part of this service you can specify a Safe Place to leave your parcel. To do this, please include your Safe Place request in the delivery section either in the address or special delivery instructions box.

Our delivery charge is now £3.95, there is no minimum or maximum order value, this is for the Tracked service.

If you require a Next Day Delivery (Mon - Fri, excluding bank holidays) the price is £7.95, the order needs to be placed before 4.30pm to ensure same day despatch.

Overseas DeliveryFor Eire there is a standard £9.95 +VAT delivery charge. For many areas in Europe there is a standard £20.00 + VAT postage charge. These charges are applicable for the majority of orders, for very large quantities or heavy items we may quote as necessary.
Orders are sent via courier, if you would prefer us to send by Royal Mail International Signed for Service please see below.

For areas of Europe not covered by the standard charge and other overseas destinations we use various international couriers to ensure that we can offer the best price for delivery on individual orders. The price is based on the size and weight of the parcel. In some circumstances where the parcel weight could be doubled for the same delivery charge we will advise you to give you the option to increase your order if you wish.

International shipping costs, where not stated, will be advised by email before taking payment. We allow at least 24 hours from advising you of the delivery charge by email before we arrange despatch, enabling you enough time to make any changes if necessary. We would recommend that you check your email as no response is taken as notice of acceptance of the quoted delivery charge.

All overseas parcels are sent by secure international courier as standard, this enables us to track your parcel and ensure that it is delivered in a timely manner.

If you would prefer for your parcel to be sent via Royal Mail International Signed for Service, which can sometimes be a cheaper option, then please let us know at the time of order using the comments box at the check-out.

Please note, however, that once a parcel has been dispatched via Royal Mail International Signed for Service we can no longer accept any liability for loss or damage to your order, neither can we give any indication as to how long it will take to deliver your order.

Import Duties & TaxesFor some locations outside of Europe import duties and taxes maybe incurred once your goods reach their destination. Scarboroughs Ltd is not responsible for these additional charges and is unable to advise what they may be. If you are purchasing internationally we would recommend you contact the local Customs Authority for further information on costs and procedures, it is also your responsibility to ensure that your purchase is in full compliance with the laws of the country the items are being imported into. Some customs authorities may inspect the goods on arrival at port and Scarboroughs Ltd cannot guarantee that packaging of your goods will not be free of signs of tampering.

ShippingWe at Scarboroughs Limited will do our best to fulfill all orders but in exceptional cases, such as where supplies are unobtainable or temporarily out of stock we will contact you to suggest an alternative item or let you know the time delay.

Please Note:Once ordered goods have been dispatched any changes to the delivery address will incur additional charges.
