Angela Hicks' book focuses on simple principles to enable the reader to make sense of the often conflicting health advice that so often surrounds us. First she advises us to establish our type, with the aid of a series of questions, and then advises on the type of diet you should follow. Foods are categorised, to help us make an informed decision as to the foods we should eat for optimum health. Surprisingly she also shows us the sense contained in many old wives tales. This book has none of the preachy qualities contained in so many health books, and is informative and entertaining.
