Ibuki Moxa is grown in the foothills of Mount Ibuki in Japan, Gold Mountain Ibuki moxa is from mugwort gathered only during the midwinter season when the quality is at its peak. Gold Mountain moxa has a volume limit due to its limited gathering and production period. The super pure, extra fine texture of this loose moxa means it is excellent for direct moxibustion and is less likely to burn the skin due to its high concentration of essential oil.
