Payment is not taken when you place your order on-line, your credit/debit card will only be debited when we despatch your goods.
Delivery Charges
UK Delivery
Delivery methods and charges are displayed during the checkout process. There is a minimum postage & packing charge of £3.00 for all orders under the value of £30.00 (before VAT). For all orders over the value of £30.00 (before VAT) there is a minimum postage & packing charge of £6.00. Goods are sent via Recorded First Class Post or Carrier and any requested special delivery requirements are charged to the customer. A signature is required on delivery.
Overseas Delivery
We use various international couriers to ensure that we can offer the best price for delivery on individual orders. The price is based on the size and weight of the parcel. In some circumstances where the parcel weight could be doubled for the same delivery charge we will advise you to give you the option to increase your order if you wish.
International shipping costs will be advised by email before taking payment. We allow at least 24 hours from advising you of the delivery charge by email before we arrange despatch, enabling you enough time to make any changes if necessary.
All overseas parcels are sent by secure international courier as standard, this enables us to track your parcel and ensure that it is delivered in a timely manner. If you would prefer for your parcel to be sent via Royal Mail Airmail, which can sometimes be a cheaper option, then please let us know at the time of order.
Please note, however, that once a parcel has been despatched via Royal Mail Airmail we can no longer accept any liability for loss or damage to your order, neither can we give any indication as to how long it will take to deliver your order.
Shipping
We at Scarboroughs Limited will do our best to fulfil all orders but in exceptional cases, such as where supplies are unobtainable or temporarily out of stock we will contact you to suggest an alternative item or let you know the time delay. Please Note! Once ordered goods have been dispatched any changes to the delivery address will incur additional charges.
Damaged Goods
Goods received damaged from Scarboroughs Limited must be reported within 2 days of receipt. Replacements will be sent and any extra postage charges refunded.
Returns
Claims will not be accepted for damages or shortages unless they are reported to Scarboroughs Limited within 2 days of receipt and we request that all customers open boxes and check them as soon as possible after receipt. In addition, goods will only be replaced if they are found to be unsuitable, broken in transit or if a problem has occurred during production.
Mistakes
Please ensure that when you order you provide the correct information, preferably the part number or alternatively a full product description. Any items ordered by mistake that need to be returned will incur a restocking fee, this will equate to 25% of the sales value of each item returned. Please note however that Scarboroughs must be informed by phone within 2 days of receipt of order of any items that will be returned and all postage charges will be the responsibility of the purchaser. |
